Todd Millen has dedicated more than 30 years to music education, inspiring generations of students through excellence in performance, leadership, and musicianship. As the director at the Kingswood Oxford School, Mr. Millen commissioned several works for his students and offered them the opportunity to work with living composers. Mr. Millen also provided opportunities for his students to work and perform with a multitude of professional musicians from a variety of backgrounds.
Mr. Millen aims to foster both musical achievement and personal growth, and is passionate about creating a supportive environment where students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
As a trombonist, Mr. Millen has performed with the Rhode Island Philharmonic and the Albany Symphony as well as other regional orchestras and numerous chamber ensembles.
Mr. Millen holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Northwestern University and a Master of Music in Trombone Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.
