Cabin Rental Agreement

Upon arrival please check into the Visitors Center, located in the main parking lot.

Check-in: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

If you plan on arriving later in the evening, please contact Snow Pond at 207-465-9648 x 207 or email and we will make arrangements for you.

Check-Out: no later than 10:00 a.m.

Before leaving please tie trash bags and leave them inside the cabin door.
Please wash all dishes and return them to where you found them.
If you moved furniture, please move it back to where you found it.

Guests are responsible for bringing their own bed linens/towels/toiletries.

Snow Pond will supply toilet paper/paper towels/trash bags. If you bring your own, Snow Pond septic systems only take 1-ply paper. Please oblige by this request.

Cabins do not lock, there’s an hasp on each cabin door. Guests may request a lock or bring their own. Snow Pond is not responsible for any lost/damaged personal items.

Firewood will be supplied for all campus firepits.

Snow Pond cabins are not heated (portable heaters are available if it gets cold) and guests are welcome to bring their own heaters and outside cooking grills.

Lodge Restaurant: Complimentary Continental Breakfast 7-10 am. Saturday/Sunday.

Financials: Your cabin will be charged in full to your credit card upon booking.

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival will receive a full refund of the payment, less processing fees. Cancellations made 29 days to 7 days before scheduled arrival will receive a 50% refund of the payment, less processing fees.  Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival will receive no refund of the payment. There are no refunds for early departure. 

We are dog-friendly. Show proof of rabies vaccination upon check-in and please remember your leash and poop bags. There is a $25 pet fee per dog.

Smoking is NOT PERMITTED anywhere on the facility grounds.

This contract is for cottage rentals by and between Snow Pond Center for the Arts and the Renter. Whereas, the Renter desires to temporarily rent, occupy, and make use of the Owner's venue, located at 8 Goldenrod Lane, Sidney, Maine 04330. Whereas, the Owner agrees to such rental, occupation, and use in consideration of certain payments. In witness of their understanding and agreement to the terms and conditions herein contained, the parties affix their signatures below. Both parties whose signatures appear below hereby warrant that they are fully authorized and entitled to enter into this agreement.
